Precious in His sight

This is our sweet little playgroup that we spend part of the afternoon with. L to R: Ashish, Clay, Abdula, Rahul, Miraj, and Emma (These kids are all KG age or younger, so when they are dismissed at 12:30, we play ‘til 2:00 when all the others are finished with school.) I try to do what my mom did with me when I got home from school.
“How was your test today, Miraj?”
“I got 8 of 8, mam.”
“Great job, buddy!” (Big hug, and smiles.)
We play Connect Four, Go Fish, play-doh, read books, throw a ball, and finish homework. I’m hoping to bake a cake with them soon. One day recently we made hats out of this colorful paper. These kids make me smile… They are precious.
“Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same One form us both in our mothers?” (Job 31:15)
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

Thank you for this entry, Ade! I love the hat idea...reminds me of our New Years Eve with you:). I adore these little boys, and pray for your play group very very often! Love you, Mom Rack
