Tomorrow we leave for India! We fit our things into 5 suitcases. It's kind of freeing to think about just having 3 shirts to keep track of and no pressure to keep up with the latest trends. We will live very simply over there.
A friend of mine gave me a book by Amy Carmichael (a missionary to India in the early 1900's). I read this in the foreword yesterday:
"What He gives is never for ourselves alone, but is given to be shared."
It is that thought that compels us.

We love you guys! We're praying for you and for the boys in India. To God be the glory.
My heart is so filled, and overwhelmed, and prayerful, and melancholy, and excited, and wondering. My spirit is so full of each one of you...so on the verge of tears at the thought or mention of you... and with every teary eye, a prayer goes to our great God that every opportunity will be maximized; nothing wasted..and I love knowing that that is your prayer as well.
The children's toys are right where they were left downstairs..they will stay there for a long time. As we step over them, we will pray...and pray...and pray!!
We love you, and we anticipate great things because HE has compelled you to go!
