Demolition
Scott (Jeff's brother) and Jayme have been here helping us with this house project. We are pulling down ceiling tiles in a few rooms, refinishing hardwood floors on the second floor, tearing out a wall to make the master bedroom bigger, and painting trim this week. Here is the doorway from the master bedroom to the adjacent room . . .
And now here is the master bedroom with the middle wall totally out! It almost doubled the room's size.

Here are some of my favorite points of this 1912 house. I love the built ins and the character. We are planning to move in about two weeks, and we can hardly wait!

Its so fun to be down here helping you guys, Ade! I can't wait to see it all come together. So much better than being stuck in Boston, in the middle of winter, with no work until March and no family to hang out with :o)
What a great house!
Wow. That's quite the demolition project :)
LOVE the house - it's so beautiful!!
It will be the perfect "party"/people house!! I know you guys will use it for others as well as a haven for your family!
How fun you guys! That's so cool that you are going to move soon...and get settled...finally!! God's so good. :)
Love the photos - what a great house God has provided for you! Just a thought - what about wearing a mask while you work to protect you from potential toxins in the dust/paint/etc? Just thinking about your little one. :)
I was hoping for some pics of the fun you are having:) Can't wait to see it done!
Fantastic! Love the house! What a blessing and answer to prayer. Can't wait to see pictures of the finished product. SO happy for you guys!
What a beautiful "home"! I've been thinking of you and praying for you. The Lord laid you on my heart a few weeks back and didn't get a chance to tell you. So appreciate your transparency in your Desert times, but also in your times of rejoicing! Love ya!
Whoa! Master bedroom suite=SWEET!
Love it! Can't wait to come see it!!!!

PS Get Jeff a TV for the olympics! ;)
All that hard work will pay off--satisfaction in the results and resale value for the future if you should ever choose to relocate, which of course you will not do for a long, long time. Can't wait to see your new home. G'ma Marge
