Home for Christmas

We had a wonderful time in Indiana celebrating Christmas with both our families. It even snowed so we were able to make snowmen, ice skate, and go sledding. We are so thankful for the relationships God has blessed us with. Here are some of the highlights from our trip.
We went ice skating twice!
Lots of sledding...
A waterpark in Shipshewana with my family
Building a snowman with the Ries cousins...Cassia, Ashlyn, Hunter, Zachary, Clay, and Emma
A full trip...a nap on the plane ride home.

Hey Adrienne! Merry Christmas...I thought about you alot on the 24th with your extra long day. I hope you had a great time with your own family yesterday and have since caught up on some sleep. I can't believe you found time to do a blog already ;o) It was so great spending time with you guys this week.

Adrienne,
Glad you were able to spend time with both families for Christmas.
We haven't been to the shipshewanna water park yet....but I'm looking forward to taking Simone sometime soon. River is 6 1/2 months. He's such a sweet calm go with the flow type baby. Simone is a HUGE help as a big sis. With Simone in school 3 days 1/2 day, that allows me to have some alone time with River which is really special. Have a great New Years!
