Father/Daughter Weekend
Mom had the idea to have the daughters come home for a special Father/Daughter banquet at their church last weekend. The girls came from Birmingham, Cuyahoga Falls, and Indianapolis... We don't get to be together as much anymore, so this was wonderful for all of us!
On Friday night, we dressed up in our finest and went to the banquet. Photo Booth Fun...
It was a great night of desserts, meaningful conversation, fun dances and the limbo, and time to remember good times with Dad.
My sisters and I are so thankful to have a Dad that spent lots of time with us growing up, coming to our sporting events, teaching us how to throw a ball and ride a bike, and modeling for us what it means to love Jesus.
We also went to the Reichanadter's. While the guys made a brush pile to burn outside,
the girls were inside making these fun little treats...
A mug of "hot cocoa"
Were so thankful we don't live too far away, so we can still come up for special weekends like these!

Audrey says, "Oh, those are cute!" She thinks they would be fun to make for a tea party.
She said to say hello to Clay and Emma please. We spent our afternoon decorating Valentine cookies. We miss playing with you.
Hi Adrienne,
This is Carla Oplinger. I saw the picture of the marshmallow teacups on the internet and sent it to Lori. They looked so cute and something that would be so much fun making with a grandchild! To my surprise, Lori sent me a picture of her and Emma making them! How cute!! She gave me the link so I could see on your blog too. The kids sure are growing up so quickly! Lori keeps me updated with how you and your family are doing. Pretty awesome! Take care, Carla
SO fun! Thanks for making the trip. Our lives are so enriched by our children and grandchildren. David took the last 3 "teacups" to the office, where they will "age" beside Amanda's "braces cupcakes". Love you! ~Mom
Fun! Fun! Fun! And Adrienne, I must say I love your outfit :). Thanks for sharing your week-end with us...what a special treat in every way!!! Mom Rack
