Today we moved our furniture back in place and are enjoying having a living room. This room has gone through a "facelift" of ceiling tile pieces ripped out, can lighting installed, drywall set, priming and painting, sanding and finishing the floors. I think she's looking pretty good for being almost 100 years old. . .
We let the kids put primer on the fireplace. Emma chose a small artist brush for the job. That meant it took much more time but kept her busy for awhile...
Here you can see my "baby bump." We've only got 3 more months 'til the little one arrives. Yikes! We have a lot of work still to be done, but we're thankful for all that's been accomplished and for all the help we've had. It's been quite the project!

Wow, Ade, I can't believe how different the front room looks. You have had great success putting 'your look' on to an old arts and crafts style house. I didn't know you were going to paint the fireplace, but everyone is right, it looks terrific. Miss you...
