Helping Daddy

All three of the kids were quite interested in this bathroom renovation project. Some were a bit more helpful than others... Hudson was fascinated by the loud power tools, and especially liked to try to hold sharp tools when we weren't looking. Emma helped mix the mortar to make it look like a milkshake. Clayton ran the "wet saw" to cut a few tiles. Jeff assured me that it's not possible for the blade to cut a finger. :)

I really enjoy seeing all your renovation projects with before and after. Thanks for the latest goings on in your life. Hope I get out there sometime. (Maybe after Christmas on the way to southern IN). G'ma marge

You are so wise to let them "help" you, Jeff! Makes me smile....and makes me remember when you were a little guy helping your Dad....and helping me too. "Hold tight to the sounds of the music of living...happy sounds of the laughter of children at play...hold them near, while they're here, and don't wait for tomorrow, then look back and wish for today"....It does indeed slip through your fingers like sand...Embrace each teachable, laughable, unforgettable moment!
